Wedding Extravangza!

Well Beth & Casey finally tied the knot this past Labor Day weekend. It was a weekend full of family, friends, and fun! We had a wonderful time with relatives from all over coming for the special day. We enjoyed a delicious rehearsel dinner put on by Casey's family- everything hand cooked and prepared by Caseys younger brother. Tri Tip, Kabobs, Bruschetta, and more!

We also had a great time in the Greenwoods backyard while we watched the kick off to BSU's football season. GOOOOO BRONCOS!! Of course there was good food, good friends, and an awesome big screeen TV set up in the backyard so everyone could watch the game that night! Even better- we WON!!! But we weren't worried :)

Camping at Sagehen Reservoir

We took a quick camping trip to a super fun place called Saghen Reservoir recommended to su by friends. It was beautiful, not too far away, a perfect size lake, and great campgrounds! My kind of camping trip! We took the girls frined Sophia with us too and they all had a blast.

There was a walking trail the circled the whole lake, and great views the whole way! Perfect pitcure opportunities! It was so peacful and pretty, nice to get out of work and city life for a few days :)

Cooking by the campfire- YUMMY! Mothing like a capmfire hot dog!

And don't forget raosting mallows!!! Let gettin dirty begin!

Macee was the master roaster!

Did somebody say SMORES??!!?? Ooey gooey yumminess!!

The girls couldn't get enough of SMORES! Love the dirt on the face too- boy we were filthy by the time we left :)

Lots of fun hiking and searching for wilderness animals! We even saw signs of BIGFOOT!!

Time out after the hike for a picnic in the pick up!

And next a dip in the lake! Go for it girls... I am not a big fan of murky lake water :)

And it didn't last long... it was FREEZING!!!

We tried again in the shallow water of the lake right by our campsite. Much better! and TADPOLE CITY! They were everywhere! Of course they had to catch them! I guess in a few more weeks the forest is full of frogs! Hopefully we didn't traumatice too many frog babies :)

Macee was also the master catcher! She easily collected over 20 tadpoles for everyone to share- yuck!

And a little fishing was attempted as well with homemade fishing poles....not so lucky in this activity!

What a beautiful view as we fished on the banks of the lake in the evening. We didn't catch anything, but now we know what type of fishing gear to bring next time for the best luck to catch some trout!

No fishies tonight- maybe next time!

Enjoying the cozy campfire....love that smell!

Thanks for a great time Sagehen! See ya next year!!
