Jadyn Turns 6 and Sparkler Sticks!

Well, we didn't make it home to Idaho Falls this year for the 4th of July, but had a great time in Boise.  Chelsea and the girls and I went to the parade- which sadly was WAY LAME compared to IF's :(  But the girls got lots of candy and we didn't have to go snake a spot on the street at 5am!  We drove up ten minutes before it started and parked right by our great spot.  SWEET!  Unfortunately, smart mom here locked her keys in her car, followed by the really smart locksmith dude who couldn't get my car unlocked after an hour of attempting , to which he told me top call someone to bring me a spare.  THANKS SWIFT LOCK & KEY....for NOTHING!   We eventually got over it and enjoyed a yummy BBQ at Grandma's, celebrated Jadyn's bday, went swimming, and ended the night at the horse races!  So much fun!!  We did fireworks the night before with a bonfire and smores' since the kids had school the next day after the 4th.  Great times with the Greenwoods!

Birthday lunch with Jadyn at Pier 49 Pizza- best pizza EVER!
Jadyn had a party at the local pool, and I am an idiot and forgot my camera:(  I got just a few shots on my phone but loved this one of Ben holding all the girls up while he floated underwater not wanting his picture taken  :)  Can't believe my baby is 6!  Here's 6 things I love about Jadyn:  1. She tells me she loves me about 20 times each day  2.  I get the biggest smile and hug EVERY time I come home form work  3.  She is polite and friendly to others (most of the time :)  4.  I love how she loves others- especially her dogs :)  5.  I love how tiny and muscular she is- future track or cheer star??  6.  I love her spunky personality that keeps us laughing daily   LOVE YOU JADYN!!
Had to bring the Bennett tradition to Boise with donuts and chocolate milk before the parade!  Awwww yeah!

Fun at the horse races with Auntie Betha dn Uncle Casey
                                               Happy Independence Day to all!!

BBQ , Bulls, and Mrs. Idaho!

What more could you ask for than some great BBQ, crazy bull riding, and meeting Mrs. Idaho?!  We had it all at the Northwest Ribfest at a local park this year.

Macee in action!  She was scared but did great!
Woo-hoo rid em cowgirl!  I rode em too, but asked no pictures to be taken as I made a fool of myself and jammed my fingers as I got bucked off!  Not to mention my legs hurt and I couldn't walk right for a few days.....who knew bull riding was so complictaed and painful!  Even jsut he mechanical ones!!

Highlight of the evening...yep that's right..meeting Mrs. Idaho!  She was so nice and even let us all try on her crown!  Wow!!!  Signed autographs and all!  Good luck at Nationals!!

Dancing Dolls!!

Jadyn decided to continue dance again this year...which made mommy very happy cause she's so stinkin cute doing it!  We also got the awesome opportunity to have good friend Cleary join us!  Here they are at the Spring Recital....how CUTE are they?!?
She did ballet and tap this year and did great!
Thanks to all the family who came to watch our little star!!

Crazy that Celb and I used to preform together and now our little girls are following in our footsteps :)  I love it!

Mother's Day and Kindygotten Graduation! ExcitingStuff!

Well, my baby graduated from Kindergarten...another big step:)  She loved her teacher :)
                                               Grandma Jan and Auntie Beth
Jadyn's new Bestie....Bella!  They love hanging out!
She had a great music program, but sadly no graduation ceremony or hat :(  Too bad she was so small she got covered up pretty good when they were singing I could barely see her!
                                                    Me and my girls.....LOVE EM!!
Mother's Day was great- I got lots of lovely handmade gifts...my favorite from these two little cuties.  I can't believe how fast they are growing up, but I still get a lot of love and "I love you's" from my little Jadyn.  I don't think she wants to grow up either :)  I love being a mom !

                                                 My little graduate....sniff sniff :(

Behind on Blogging....

Well, it's been yet another 5 or so months so I am playing catch up!  Here's a look at a few happenings with the Greenwoods in 2012!!

I decided to host a Valentine's Day Party this year with some friends and Chelsea...GREAT FUN! It is so nice having one of my dearest friends back in Boise to be able to hang out with again.  Celby, Danica, and I have had a many years of friendship and memories and we love to continue to make more :)  It is also great having my sister and sister and brother in law here in Boise too to get together with!
The ladies prepared a lovely Fondue meal...YUMMO!  AND this was a surprise to our fellas too so that was fun.

We played a few fun valentine games, including "Kissyface" where us ladies had one minute to put as many bright red lip kisses on our man's face.  Pretty entertaining and the guys were actually great sports
                                                                     Celby & Jake
Let me see those RED lips ladies!!!
This was Macee's second year of YMCA basketball and she did great!  They still don't keep score yet, but the Pandas did awesome!  Most of the girls are from her school so she loves it.

Adorable Panda treats I made for the last game-they were a hit!
