Feeding the Ducks...
My father-in-law has been staying in an apartment since he started his new job up here in Boise while they are trying to get their house ready to sell in Jerome. He has a beautiful backyard view of Logger Creek and there are many birds that have their homes there on the river bank. Well Grandpa kept telling the girls we needed to come by and feed the ducks- so we finally made it over one night last week and they were so excited to feed the ducks! Well, not a duck was in sight! We walked up and down the creek bed looking for hungry mouths to feed, but only a few would swim by here and there, and weren't the slightest bit interested in bread crumbs.
Well, come to find out it is mating season for the birds so they are a little busy right now looking for love and a place to nest! We did find a few later on that evening but they completely ignored the kids and the mounds of bread being tossed into the water as they headed into the reeds and bushes to have a little "alone time" :) Macee just kept saying- "Well Mom, I think they just want to go to bed!" Little did she know how right she was:) So instead we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and took some pictures in the pretty scenery. We will try again next time you swooning duckies!

Lime Green Sherbert Anyone???
Let the Hunt Begin!
We had a beautiful day on Easter, a great day for an egg hunt. We joined up with all the Greenwood cousin clan and went to a neighborhood park for an egg hunt after a scrumptious brunch. The kids had as much fun finding the eggs as we did hiding them! And the winner of the golden egg received a giant chocolate bunny with foot long ears! Only 2,400 calories in the bunny mind you:) Good times- Happy Easter!
Eggstravaganza!!!
We had an "eggcellent" time dying our beautiful shiny eggs! The girls were "tanning" again that day- hence the swimsuit attire:)

Spring Fever....
Well it has been a variety of weather lately in Boise, rain, shine, and even a brief snowstorm yesterday! I can't stand indecisive weather patterns. It needs to be warm weather soon! We did have one really nice day this week and as I was making dinner the other night, Macee said "Hey mom we are going tanning ok?" I didn't think much of it and said ok and laughed a bit. When I came out to check on them this is what I found. Guess my kids have spring fever too! Oh how I love little children's minds at work:)
